April 8th Edition is Up!

April 8th, 2007 · 6 Comments

The latest edition of The Personal Development Carnival has been posted at Self development tips 101. Thanks for hosting, Jesper… you did a great job! I really liked the way you broke the entries down into easily readable chunks, and gave some great excerpts and comments from the authors along with each post. Thanks! Just let me know when you want to host again.

It’s too bad that Nneka’s outstanding post The Secret Remixed: It’s Not About the Stuff! didn’t make it into the edition… may have been a blog carnival hiccup, an oversight, or a hosting decision. Whatever the reason, it’s been featured now. The article and the conversation that follows it is just too good for me to leave out.

And next week… the carnival is returning to it’s previous home at Creating a Better Life. :) Be sure to submit your articles via our Blog Carnival Submission Form.

And don’t forget that if you want to host an edition, check out the, um, Host an Edition page.

Hi Lyman, thanks for the shout out! I wasn’t expecting any special treatment, just wondering about any others that may have been missed.

    Thanks though,
    Nneka

No, not special treatment… just making a correction. :)

Hmm… maybe I should set up a page for people who weren’t included in an edition and want to know why. It happened once to Steve Olson when I was hosting, so that’s why I’m assuming it was an oversight or a hiccup.

Hi there and thanks for the kind words. I’m sorry I missed a few entries. I was more busy than I expected since there was a holiday coming up (easter) and I failed to get to a computer on the day of the deadline for submissions. This mean I couldn’t add some great submissions that should have made this edition.
I truly apologize for this and hope that no damage is done!

    Regards
    Jesper

Not a problem, Jesper… like I said, it’s happened to me when I’ve hosted. No damage done, and I hope you’ll consider hosting again. Thanks!

Hi Jesper, I second Lyman. I’ve done it myself. It’s a lot of posts to go through.

    Cheers,
    Nneka
